Community Guidelines – Engagement Positive

Welcome to The Hak Event—a dynamic and inclusive hub for competitive gamers, strategic thinkers, and esports enthusiasts. Whether you’re here to discuss matchmaking algorithms, tournament mechanics, platform trends, or co-op tactics, this is your arena. Our goal is to foster an environment where growth is constant, collaboration is natural, and communication is respectful. These Community Guidelines are in place to help us elevate one another and keep the momentum moving forward.

Founded by Kyralith Zelthanna in Oklahoma City, The Hak Event is built on progress: tactical insight, real-time gaming intelligence, and the evolution of competitive multiplayer. From core gameplay design to the nuances of international events, we invite you into a mission-driven space where thoughtful participation leads to better play, sharper discussion, and a stronger community. If you’re here, you’re part of that progress — and we’re glad to have you.

What This Community Is For

This isn’t just a place to talk shop; it’s a space to exchange strategies, stress-test theories, and refine your perspective. Our discussions revolve around high-level thinking, tactical awareness, and real-time feedback loops. Whether you’re analyzing patch updates, offering team composition tips, or reverse-engineering win conditions from past tournaments — your voice adds value.

This space exists to support conversations that refine, extend, or clarify the fast-moving world of multiplayer and esports gameplay. Every post, question, or citation is a step in the right direction — toward better game knowledge, fitter teams, and smarter community habits.

Our Shared Values

We compete, but we don’t condescend. We strive, but we don’t steamroll. We work with the following principles in mind:

  • Respect: Debate the mechanics, not the person. Tactical arguments don’t need personal insults.
  • Precision: Share data, not drama. The sharper your point, the more it helps others refine their game.
  • Progress: Challenge others to improve — and expect the same challenge in return.
  • Transparency: Cite your sources, show your reasoning, and give credit where it’s due.
  • Inclusivity: Complex games benefit from diverse minds. Everyone should feel welcome to observe, ask, or weigh in.

These values shape our cohesion as a community, and help ensure our discussions remain focused on forward motion rather than friction.

Respect-Focused Engagement

All advancement comes from interaction — but only if that interaction is clear, thoughtful, and driven by mutual respect. Participation here should aim to elevate understanding, whether through:

  • In-depth tactical feedback
  • Platform interoperability predictions
  • Event preparation models or team-based communication patterns
  • Line-by-line breakdowns of playbooks or meta shifts

We welcome challenge — but we expect it to be backed by logic, shared goals, and good faith. Constructive criticism is encouraged only when it helps someone improve clarity, execution, or vision.

Prohibited Behaviors

We won’t tolerate:

  • Personal attacks disguised as critique
  • Racial, gender-based, or cultural slurs
  • Spam or promotional noise unrelated to discussions
  • Sharing values-destroying content, including leaks or fraudulent claims

We’re all here to level up, and toxic dialogue slows that down. If you’re reading something and wondering “Does this cross the line?” — don’t post it, or ask us before doing so.

Moderation Standards

Our moderation team is here to protect the learning curve by smoothing out disruptions. Content that departs from the values laid out above may be flagged or removed. Enforcement approaches will always begin with engagement and education — not condemnation. We believe in second chances, followed by sustained accountability.

If you see a concern, or experience something that undercuts your ability to participate, let us know privately. You can reach our moderation team at [email protected]. Every reported case is treated as a real issue that affects real people—and deserves a real response.

Attribution and Content Sharing

You worked hard for your insights—so did others. When referencing strategies, stats, or gameplay models from community conversations, please credit the original participant, include timestamps when relevant, and link to the source if external. This includes referencing published analysis or community guides shared outside the platform.

Posts caught misrepresenting others’ data or recycling findings without attribution may be removed. Not because we don’t support content flow—but because correct flow amplifies the entire ecosystem.

Privacy and Protection Boundaries

Privacy is more than a preference — it’s structural integrity. Please don’t disclose personal details (like emails, DMs, or private tactics chats) without consent. Never post screenshots or snippets from private tournaments or team forums without explicit permission. Read more in our Privacy Policy to understand our operational protections and how we ensure responsible community space.

We also encourage members to think hard about what they share publicly. Context-free assets, unverified data, or team-specific tactics deserve careful handling — not every strategy is ready for the spotlight.

Collaboration in Action

We believe good competition starts with great collaboration. Some of the most impactful builds, setups, and creative tactics come from open exchange. Interested in shaping long-form tactical guides, co-developing meta analysis, or helping evaluate multiplayer structures? Reach out via Values Action to explore active roles in our contributor circle. We’re here to advance the platform—and inclusive collaboration is our growth engine.

Founder’s Vision

Kyralith Zelthanna founded The Hak Event with a singular premise: that thoughtful competition makes for better players, better teams, and better games. Her leadership isn’t driven by spotlight, but by structure—by the systems that hold up skill and the conversations that sharpen capability. The Hak Event exists not to settle for what works today, but to push for what wins tomorrow.
